PLANNING COMMISSION HELD ON MONDAY
EVENING, JULY 11, 1955, AT THE CITY
HALL
NE~BERS PRESENT:
Frank E. Bacon, Jr., Thermon Means, J. W.
Quinn, John A. Siegel, Q. L. Hardy, W. L.
Tadlock and Charles H. Gallion.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Jerome C. Kidd and Lee Byrd.
ATTORNEY:
C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., was absent.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bacon at 7:00
o'clock P. M.
Minutes of the previous meeting of June 6 were read and
approved.
Chairman Bacon read the Variance Application of Harold W.
Robbins, of 540 South Pacific Avenue, Tustin, requesting
permission to erect an additional dwelling on the rear of
Lot 19 and permission to erect two dwellings on Lot 20,
Assessors Map No. 19 of the City of Tustin, being Nos.
530 and 5~0 South Pacific Avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. Robbins both addressed the Commission stating
their reasons for requesting the Variance.
Present were George Broomell, Pat Story, John V. Sauers
and Richard Featherstone, all of whom addressed the Com-
mission objecting to the granting of the Variance and
stating their re~sons for doing so.
After discussion with Applicants and Objectors it was
moved by Commissioner Tadlock, seconded by Commissioner
Hardy and duly carried to deny the granting of this re-
quest for Variance.
Upon motion of Means, seconded by Quinn and carried the
meeting was adjourned.
