HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Minutes 08-20-56MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE TUSTIN PLANNING COMMISSION. MONDAY, AUGUEST 20, 1956. MEMBERS PRESENT: Byrd, Siegel, Gallion, Tadlock, Means & Bacon. ABSENT : Kidd & Hardy. CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, present. Meeting was called to order at 7:10 P: M. by Chairman Bacon. An application for Variance by W. K. Hillyard, 1809 Bush St., Santa Ana, Calif., was presented, requesting permission for the Mullin Lumber Co. to use the Westerly 220 feet of that parcel of property zoned C-I fronting on the North line of First Street and lying between North "C" Street and Prospect Avenue, for the storage of lumber. Mr. Mullin explained to the Planning Commission and those assembled, the uses and improvements that the Lumber Co., expected to put in effect, if granted the Variance. After considerable discussion by those present about the desirability of allowing the Variance, upon Motion by Tadlock, seconded by Siegel and duly carried, the request for Variance on the above property was continued until Monday, August 27th, 1956.
