HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Minutes 02-18-57 MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE TUSTIN PLANNING COMMISSION, FEBRUARY 18, 1957. MEMBERS PRESENT: Bacon, Means, Siegel, Tadlock, Mrs. Gregory and Stanton. ABSENT : None. CITY ATTORNEY : C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., present. Chairman Bacon called the meeting to order at ?:10 P. M. Thermon Means noted that his name had been in-adver- tently omitted from "members present" at the last meeting. On motion by Means, seconded by Siegel that with the above correction, the minutes be approved as mailed out. Motion carried. A Master Plan for Tustin and adjacent area was dis- cussed at great length, and it was finally decided that maps of the area should be procured and distributed to the members and at a future date each would be assigned some particular phase of planning to study. City Engineer McBride presented a map with a tentative plan of traffic control for First and D Street. On motion by Siegel, seconded by Stanton and duly carried, it was recommended that the plan be presented to the City Council for study and possible adoption. Motion by Siegel, seconded by Means that City Attorney Nisson work up a rough draft of an Ordinance for Small Estate Zoning to be presented at the next meeting of the Planning Commission for their consideration. Motion carried. Motion by Tadlock, seconded by Siegel that the City Attorney present, and if possible, have a public hearing on a T Zone Ordinance at the next meeting of the Planning Commission. Motion carried. Meeting was duly adjourned. A. O. park, Secretary.
