Meeting called to order by Chairman ~.acon at 7:0~ P. M. The ?~inutes were ordered avproved as read. Chairman Bacon opened the hearing on zoning and setbacks for the "Eaststde Annexation to Tustin." A letter from City En~ineer McBrdie was read, giving his recommendations as to zonin.~ and setbacks, on the a:~ove annexation. It was agreed by those interested parties present, that recommendations as made with one or two minor changes were satisfactory. Hearing on the "Eastside Annexation to Tustin" was closed. Hearing on the orooosed rezoning of the oroperty at the corner of 3rd and F Streets was opened by Chairman 'Uacon. There being no one oresent to orotest above rezoning, the hearing was declared closed. ~otion by Tadlock, seconded by Means that the recommennations of City En~.'ineer ~'~cBride for setbacks and zoning the "Eastside Annexation to Tustin", with the exceotion that a distance southerly 120 feet from the northern boundary, of the oroperties of ~:Iargaret M; Suddaby and ~ae. K. Rarrar be zoned R-3, and that the City Attorney prepare a Resolution recommending same to the Tustin City Council. Nlotion carried. On motion by Siegel, seconded by Dr. Stanton and duly carried, it wa~. recommended that Lots 4, ~ & 6, Block 46, Tustin City be re-zoned from R-1 to ~.-1. ~otion by Siegel, seconded by Mrs. Gregory that Resolution No. 502 "A Resolution recommend- in~ zonin~ and building line recuirements for the territory within the orooosed "Eastside Annexation to Tustin," be adopted. ~otion carried, all members votin~ Aye. On motion by Siegel, seconded by Dr. Stanton and au...y carried~ "A Resolution recommendin~ rezontn~ Lots 4, RESOL:~ION NO. 503, . 5 and 6, ~lock 46, ~ustin City from R-1 to N-i" was adopted. All members votinE Aye. City Attorney Nisson, presented a prooosed Ordinance on Estate Zoning for study by Planning Commission members. ~;iotion by Tadlock, seconded by Siegel that a Public Hearing on the above orooosed &mended Ordinance to Ordinance No. 71 as amended, be set at 7:00 P. ~I., A,oril 15, 1957. ~iotion carried. ~,'Ir. Siegel rea~ a orooosed letter to County Supervisor, Wm. H. Hirstein. On motion by Tadlock, seconded by Means, and duly carried, the letter was ordered forwarded to },~r.
