OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIS,HELD IN THE CITY HALL
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,JUNE 5TH

COUNCILMEN:
Eiaa, Raveling, Gates Howell
and Forney.
ABSENT WERE:
COUNCILMEN: None
CITY ATTORNEY GEO.E.BRADLEY~~PAS PRESENT.
Mayor called the meeting to order a,nd asked for
the minutes of the last minutes to be read which,when read were
approved.
In oommunications,the written resignation of
~acl[if.Clabora was read to the Council ,and upon the motion of
Councilman Forney and secoaed by Councilman Howell it was accepted
as of June 5th.3dotion Carried.
Several Applications with their referanoea were
made for the position of Chief of Police.The following made written
appllcations,John Sylvester of Santa Ana,-Ralph Jenkins of Fullerton,
Ed H.Coffee of Orange, and H.Collins also of Orange,M.D~filliams of
Los Angeles meae p. aersonal application to members of the Board,and
was aeleotedfrom -. among the candidates to fill the waaency left
by the resignation of Chief Clabora.The seleotion of Mr. Williams was
made on the motion of Councilman Gates and seeoned by Councilman
Forney.Motion Carried. .
Councilman Rawlings moved that the signs purposed
by the State Highway Department and Auto Club for 101 highw2.y and
D.Street be orded Installed by the Auto C1ub,Counailman ~Howell_made
the second to the motion which oarried,
Ordinance ~ 66 ad3usting the rates of Business
License of the City had ita first reading.
On the motion of Councilman Gates and seconed by
Councilman Forney the following Bill were orded paid.
