MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
HELD ON MONDAY EVENING, MARCH 26,
1956, IN THE CITY HALL
PRESENT: Kidd, Tadlock, Bacon, Park. Byrd arrived late at
7:55 ~. M.
r-- S. C. Penington, City Clerk, being absent, C. Arthur
Nisson, Jr., City Attorney, acted as Clerk pro tem.
Minutes of the regular nesting of March 12, 1956, were
read and approved as read.
Mayor Kidd reported that the Sales and Use Tax Agree-
ment with the State Board of Equalization had been approved
and all was in order for the collection of the tax within
the City of Tustin, as well as the rest of the County of
Orange commencing with April 1, 1956. Agreement was or-
dered filed.
Mayor Kidd reported that the Orange County Traffic
' and Control Committee recommended no action on the Stop
Sign requested at Sixth and "B" Streets on the basis of
insufficient amount of traffic to .warrant a Stop Sign at
that location.
City Engineer McBride was present and reported on
street work and street projects and stated that he would
have plans and specifications for the resurfacing of
North "B" and North "C" Streets, North of First Street
that is, and that the project of im~roving Sixth Street,
between "B" and "D" Streets, and."C Street South of Main
Street would be carried on.
Tadlock moved that the bills be paid. Park seconded.
Motion duly carried.
Park moved, Byrd seconded, that the meeting be ad-
~ourned. Meeting duly adjourned.
