ABSENT : Mrs. Gregory & Means. CITY ATTORNEY : Dennis D. Hayden, present. Chairman Bacon called the meeting to order at 7:10 P. M. On motion of Siegel, seconded by Clark and carried, minutes of the last meeting were approved as read. Notices by the Orange County Planning Commission of a request for a variance for temporary signs on 17th Street, and a change of zone in the vicinity of Newoort Avenue and Irvine Blvd were discussed in some detail, it was the opinion of those present that no action was necessary on either of the abowe applications. A gentleman whose name I ailed to get, asked the Commission to determine if a small equipment rental business would qualify in a C-1 zone, He was informed that it would depend on the specific location and to come back when he had decided just where he desired to locate. Mr. Gilbreath requested a change of zoning for his property fronting on D Street and C Street. City Engineer McBride suggested that other property owners in adjacent areas might be interested also in a change of zone. On motion of Siegel, seconded by Clark and carried, City Engineer McBride was instructed to contact those property owners and report his findings at the next regular Council meeting. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. A. O. Park Secretary, Tustin Planning Commission
