2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, FIXING AND DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF
~ REVENUE NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON
THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN
4 AND THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO CARRY ON
THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY FOR THE
5 FISCAL YEAR 1974- 75.
6 The City Council of the 'Cit~ of Tustin does ordain as
7 follows:
8 Section 1: That it is hereby determined and declared
by the City Council of the City of Tustin that the sum' of
9 $3,628,835.00 is the amount of revenue necessary to be raised
in order to carry on the various departments of the City of
10 Tustin for the fiscal year 1974-75.
11 Section 2: That of said sum of $3,628,839.00 it is
anticipated that there will be received, as income from various
1~ sources other than through property tax levy, the sum of
$2,804,290.00 and that it will be necessary to raise the sum of
1~ $824,549.00 by tax levy upon the property within the City of
Tus tin.

Section 3: That in addition to said sum, the sum of
15 $101,21~.00 is the revenue necessary to be raised to meet the
debt service expense of the 1971 Park Bonds and that it will be
16 necessary to raise that sum by separate tax levy upon the
property within the City of Tustin.
Section 4: That in addition to said sum, the sum of
18 $79,648.00 is the revenue necessary to be raised t.o meet the
debt service expense of the Civic Center Bonds and that it will
!9 be necessary to raise that sum by separate tax levy upon the
property within the City of Tustin.

Section 5: Of the amount budgeted for street construc- -'~
21 tion and traffic signals, $299,000 will be paid from the Special
Gas Tax Funds~ and $55,000 from the City General Fund.
Section 6: Of .the amount budgeted for the repair and
~8 maintenance of City streets, traffic signals, and traffic signs,
$63,525.00 will be paid from Special Gas Tax Funds, $100,000.00
~4 from the Traffic Safety Fund, and $15,000.00 from the City
Beautification Fund.-'

Section 7: That the City Council hereby finds and
~.6 determines that the enactment of this Ordinance as an emergency,
urgency measure is required for the preservation. of public
~ health and welfare, and this Ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED' at a regular meeting of the Tustin
City Council, h~ld on the 19th day of August, 1974.

and duly passed and adopted as an emergency, urgency measure
at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of August
1974, by the following vote:
