Bacon, Sheridan, Norris, Gibbons, Hefner Mueller, Hurd City Attorney Rourke, present City Engineer Carlsen, absent Planning Advisor Remla~d, present iiearing on UP 63-150 of Ayres Realty to permit the erection of a directional sign near Northwest corner of McFadden and Tustin Avenue ooened at 7:40 P.M. Application, location of sign and recommended conditions presented by Mr. Remland. Mr. Jaeger, representing Ayres Realty, requested change of location of sign to the North property line. Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Morris that !fearing on UP 63-150 be continued to next regular meeting. Carried. Continued Hearing on Variance No. 63-131 of L. West to permit a "Dairy Freeze" Drive-In on South side of Fourth between !iolt and Newport, opened at 7:49 P.N. Correspondence from Raymond J. Larson read. Moved by Sheridan, seconded by hor.~s that Hearing on Variance No. 63-131 be continued to next regular meet.lng and Mr. West to be so notified. Remland and followi~ three additional conditions: that North and West boundaries be wall or concrete fence, tire rack be relocated subject to approval of Architectural Committee and trees be planted along Tustin Village Way subject to the approval of the Architectural Committee. Carried by roll call. All members present voting Aye. Movel by Morris, seconded by Hefner that previous motion be ar. ended to state that Block Wall or concrete fence be 6' high decreasing to 3' high in front yard area. Williams St., approximately 968.32' North of McFadden. Application, location and zoning and use of surrounding area presented by Mr. Remland. Mr. Jo?m Siegel speaking for applicant requested continuance to next regular meeting. Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Gibbons that zone change application No. 63-130 be continued. Carried. Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Morris that at the time set for decision at next regular meeting, September 23rd, the Hearing on ZC 63-129 of BOSE will be reopened. Ca~rmea. Mr. Remland presented T~ntative Tract Map 5311 of Hercules Construction Company along with seven recommended con- ditions pertaining thereto. Mr. :'ialderman, engineer for Hercules Construction Co. explained layout of tract. Moved by Morris, seconded by Sheridan that Tentative Tract Map 5311 be approved subject to conditions as pre- sented and that ingress and egress be subject to the approval of ~ne City ~ ' ~ '~ ~ng~n~er. Carried. Mr. Rcmland presented ~sntative~ Tract l~lap ~°~, along ~dth eleven recom.~ended conditions pertaining thereto. Moved by norrms, seconded by ~.~efn~r that ientative ~ract Map 5327 be approved subject to conditions as presented. Carried. Final Tract Map 4237 presented and explained by Mr. Remland. Moved by Morris, seconded by Hefner that approval of Final Tract Map ~oo~ · =~, be recommended to the City Council Carried. Moved by Morris, seconded by Sheridan that a six months extension be granted Smyth Bros. Inc for their sign at 17th St. and Yorba originally granted by UP 62-120. Carried. 307. CASE 707 CP 1058 TRACT 5236 Moved by Morris, that County Planning Commission be notified that this co~mission objects to Case No. 707, Sectional District Map LRS-11 EyAibit Y, because of strip zoning - motion died for lack of a second. Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Gibbons that County Plan- ning be notified that ~is Commission has no objections to Case No. 707, Sectional District Map IRS-11, Exhibit v~, and Mr. Remland to so notify the County Planning by phone, followed by subsequent letter-carriod-. Morris voting i~o. Moved by Morris, seconded by Gibbons that the Orange County Planning Commission be noti~ ed that this com- mission has no objections to CP 1058. Carried. Moved by Morris, seconded by Gibbons that the County Planning Commission be notified that this commission has no objections to Tentative Tract 5236. Carried. Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Hefner that correspondence be received and filed. Carried. Moved by Morris, seconded by Hefn~r that this commission propose Rl=PD zoning to the County Planning Commission for property on West side of Yorba Street North of Fourth S+reet. Carried.
