Present: Bacon, Hefner, Marsters, Miller, Ring, Lawrence. Absent: Engle City Attorney Rourke, present City Engineer Carlsen, present Planning Advisor Remland, present Moved by Hefner, seconded by Marsters that Minutes of March 9th meeting be approved as mailed. Carried. Hearing o~oened st 7:38 P.M. on Amendments to Sections AMENDMENTS TO 4.7, 4.8, 4.9, and 5.23 of Ordinance No. 157, as amended. ORD. 157 Proposed Ordinance explained by Mr. Remland. Those present with comments or questions: Mr. C. Greenwood. There being no objections or further comments, the Hearing was closed at 7:46 P.M. Moved by Hefner, seconded by Ring that Resolution No. 713 be p~ssed and adopted, recommending to the City Council that Ordinance smending Ordinance No. 157 as amended, be adopted. Carried by roll call: Ayes: Bacon, Hefner, Miller, Marsters, Ring. Noes: None. Absent: Eagle. Abstained: Lawrence. RESOL. 713 AMENDING ORD. 157 PASSED & ADOPTED Hearing contlnued from March 9th ooened at 7:50 P.M. on Zone Change Application 64-137 of A. Stutsman. Z.C. 64-137 A. STUTSMAN Area and application explained by Mr. Remland. Mr. Stutsman spbke on own behalf. There bein~ no objections or further comments, the Hearing was closed at 8:55 P.M. All members present agreed that plan submitted is an excellant use but should be constructed under a Use Permit and not a Zone Change at this time. Moved by Ring, seconded by Miller that decision on ZC64-137 be continued to next regular meeting of April 13th- carried. ZC64-137 CONTINUED TO NEXT MEETING Final Tract Map 5469 presented by Mr. Carlsen and aPorov~l recommended. FINAL TR;~CT MAP 5469 Moved by Marsters, seconded by Hefner that Final Map Tract 5469 be recommended to the Council for approval. Carried. Mr. Carlsen presented and e×ol-~ined final Macs Tracts 5~?~3- 5 311. TRACTS 5443 and 5311 Mr. Halderman, engineer, exolained Tract 5311 and Mr. Haynes, engineer, exolained Tract .5443. TRACT 5443 Moved by Ring, seconded by Lawrence th.at as final map Tract 5443 is in substantial conformance with ~he tentative map as submitted it be recommended to the City Council for approval subject to the approval of the City Engineer. Carried. TRACT 5311 CASE 726 Moved by Hefner, seconded by Marsters that as final mao Tract 5311 is in substantial conformance with the tentative map as submitted it be recommended to the City Council for approval subject to the approval of the City Engineer. Carried. Moved by Ring, seconded by Marsters that the Council be informed that this Commission's views on Case 726 show that we are in dlsfsvor of any RP Develooment on this property. Motion and second were both withdrawn. PLANNING COMMISSI ON OBJECTS TO CASE 726 Moved by Ring, seconded by Marsters thst it be forwarded to the City Council that this Planning Commission objects strongly to the granting to the present RP ih case 726 of the County, as not in accordance with recent 17th Street Zoning Agreement. Motion carried: Ayes: Hefner, Miller, Lawrence, Ring. Noes: Marsters, Bacon. Absent: Engle. Moved by Hefner, seconded by Miller that to strike the word "strongly" in above motion and insert "unequivocally" carried. SIX MONTHS Moved by Miller, seconded by Ring that an additional six EXTEN. TO months be granted Jacobson Bros. Inc. for directional sign JACOBSON BROS.on former Griset Road 250 ' West of "D" S~treet. Carried. SIX MONTHS Moved by Marsters, seconded by Lawrence that a six month's EXTEN. TO extension be granted Smyth Bros. for directional sign SMYTH BROS. at Northwest corner of 17th and Yorba Streets - carried. Mr. Rourke was excused from the meeting at 9:20 P.M. OBJE CT IONS TO UV5324 Moved by Miller, seconded by Marsters that the County Planning be informed that this Commission objects to granting of UV5324 because it is an encroachment of commercial uses which will be detrimental to a fine residential area. Carried. Moved by Hefner, seconded by Lawrence that the County be informed that this Commission has no objections to UV5320. Carried.
