April 13, 1964
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Bacon.
Present: Bacon, Marsters, Hefner, Engle, Lawrence
Mr. Ring arrived at 8:12 P.M.
Absent: Miller
Also Present: Rourke, Wheelock, Brook.
Moved by Marsters, seconded by Hefner th.3t Minutes of MIN. APPROV.
March 23rd be aoproved with following correction: voting WITH CORRECT.
on Minute Order regarding Case 726, show Mr. Lawrence
voted "No" - Mr. Marsters voted "Yes".
Discussion on ZC64-137 of A. Stutsman commenced.

Moved by Lawrence, seconded by Hefner that Resolution
714 recommendinE that property as applied for in ZC.
64-137 be zoned 100-C-l-P-10,000. Carried by roll call

subject to sign ordinance and issuance of building permit
and that Use Permit be for two years and that it either
be r~newed by the Commission at that time or sign be
removed within 60 days. Motion died for lack of second.

Consideration of request of the City Council for
further recommendations as to setbacks on Fourth
Street ooened for discussion and explained by
Mr. Wheelock.
Those present with comments were Frank Morris and
Bob Hall.
Moved by Lawrence that it be recommended to the
Council thst a lO' setback be established on both
sides of Fourth Street within the City limits.
Motion died for lack of a second.
Moved by En~le that the City Engineer contact
the County goad Dept. for their opinion and
present said opinions to the Council with the
Engineer's recommendation and the Council make
decision based on these findings whether set
back should be changed on entire Fourth Street
in the City or give this Commission time for
further study. Motion died for lack of second.
Moved by Marsters, seconded by Ring that this
Commission ask the Council to continue hearing on
Appeal of decision of the Commission denying
Variance 64-140 of Westmont Development until
the Commissioners can meet with the City Engineer
and continue discussion at the next regular
commission meeting, motion carried Mr. Lawrence

Moved by Hefner, seconded by Marsters th~.~t the
County be contacted for their opinion prior to the
next regular meeting so that this Commission can
have their oplnlOn'as to the future of Fourth Street
at that time. Carried.
Mr. Wheelock requested to prepare a Zoning Map of
"U" zoned 0roperty located N/W of Laguna Road and
Red Hill Avenue - S/E of school property.
Moved by Lawrence, seconded by Ring that this
Commission advise the County Planning Commission
that there are no objections to Case 795. Carried.
Moved by Marsters, seconded by Lawrence that the
County Planning Commission be advised that this
Commission has no objections to UV5220. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was
declared adjourned.
