TUSTIN PLANNING COMMISSION
January 18, 1965
Meeting called to order at ?:09 P.M. by Chairman Hefner.
Present: Hefner, Marsters, Bacon, Halus, Brand, Sharp.
Absent: Enderle
City Attorney Rourke, present.
Hearing opened at ?:10 P.M. to consider UP application
65-183 of Lumbermen's Mercantile of California Inc.
to permit wholesale building material distribution
center at Edlnger and Del Amo, Tustln.
Application, location, zoning, land uses in area,
oarking and history explained by Mr. Haworth along
with following staff recommendations:
1. That landscaping be provided and maintained
along the frontage of both Edlu~er and Del
Amo Streets.
2. That consideration be given to rearrangin~
the parking area to insure orooer circulation
of vehicles.
That water supply for fire orotection be
provided as per minimum reauirements of the
Fire Department.
Reoort on required water flow oresented by Chief Hilton
with letter from Tustin Water Works.
There being no comments or objections, the Hearing
was declared closed at ?:21 P.M.
Moved by Halus, seconded by Brand that Resolution 761
be passed and adopted approving UP 65-183 subject to
recommendations of Planning Staff. Soecific details
to be arranged between Planning Director and applicant
regarding landscaping and Darkin~ an~ to be aporoved
by the Architectural Committee. Recommendations of
Fire Department to be followed. Carried by roll call
Ayes: Hefner, Marsters, Bacon, Halus, Brand, Sharp.
Noes: None. Absent: Enderle.
Meeting declared adjourned.
