Z AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANT-
ING A NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE FOR A CABLE TELEVISION
m~ ~ SYSTEM TO STORER CABLE T.V., INC.
5 The City Council of the City 'of Tustin, California, does
6 ordain as follows:
7 1. This ordinance is enacted pursuant to the authority
8 provided in, and all of the provisions, terms and conditions
9 of Chapter 25 of the Tustin City Code.
10 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 25 of the
11 Tustin City Code a non-exclusive franchise to construct, operate
12 i and maintain a cable television system within the area speci-
15 fically described and delineated on the maps filed with the
14 application of the franchisee, for a term of ~fifteen (15)
15 years is hereby granted to Storer Cable T.V., Inc., a corpora-
16 tion, hereinafter referred to as Grantee, ~;ith all the rights
17 and privileges and subject to each and all of the terms and
18 conditions of said Chapter 25 and Grantee's application.
19 t! 3. Pursuant to Chapter 25 the following schedule of
20 rates and charges filed as required by said Chapter 25 is

" The use of exposed wiring is the standard method of wiring
all buildings. Any extra cost incurred by the company in
providing concealed wiring requested by the customer, ~ill
borne by that customer.

Grantee shall charge its subscribers and users.the rates and
charges in accordance with the foregoing schedule and no in-
-crease therein may be made without the prior approval of
the city council expressed by resolution.
~'~4. ~rsuant to Chapter 25 Grantee shall, du~ing the term
hereof, pay annually to City three percent (3~) of the gross
receipts derived by Grantee from all of its operations with. in
C~ty, including but not limited to all gross, basic Subscriber
receipts, all gross, non-basic, subscriber receipts, all gross,
advertising receipts and all gross, lease receipts. Said
payments shall be made to City not less often than
for the period of same length ending not more than ninety (90)
da~s prior to such payment.
5. ~e cable television system here in fr~nchised shall be
· ~sed exclusively for the purposes expressly authorized by
C!~apter 25 of the Tustin City Code and no other purpose what-
s oever.
6. This ordinance shall become' effective thirty (30) days
from and after its passage, provided, howe%rot, that the
franchise hereby granted shall not become effective unless and
until Grantee files written acceptance thezreof add an agreement
[no be bound by and comply with all of the requirements thereof,
1 and delivers to City the bond and insurance policies required
2 to be furnished, all 'pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 25
~ of Ithe Tustin City Code.

5 of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 17th day of December , 1973.
