HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 02-3910 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 02-39 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR STREET REHABILITATION FUNDING UNDER THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY REHABILITATION PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the City of Tustin desires to implement the transportation improvements listed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein; and WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M funds; and WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the Orange County Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and WHEREAS, the City of Tustin will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Program Guidelines; and WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for rehabilitation projects within the incorporated cities and the county; and WHEREAS, the City of Tustin will use Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Program Funding as a supplement to their existing pavement management program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Tustin hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to said City from the Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Program. Said funds shall be matched by funds from said City as required and shall be used as supplemental funding to aid the City in the improvement of projects listed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein.
