~ 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
i AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE TO PROHIBIT NEWSSTANDS
.. _. ~ ON PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS, PARKWAYS AND SIDEWALKS.
4. The City-of Tustin, California, does ordain that the
5 Tustin City ~ode be amended by the addition to Article 1 of Chaptel
6 17 of Section 17-3, to read as follows:
~ 17-3 News Stands Proh'ibited in Public Right-of-Way
8 It shall be unlawful for any person to place
within, in, on, upon or over any part of the public
9 right-of-way in the City of Tustin, including any
public street, alley, parkway or sidewalk, any stand,
10 rack, holder, self-service stand, coin-operated box,
container, storage unit or other device for the purpose
11 of offering for sale, vending, distributing or giving
away newspapers, periodicals or other printed matter,
12 or to authorize, cause or permit any such placement.
~-~ 14 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
, !5 Council held on the 21st day of May , 1973.

going Ordinance No. 583 was duly and regularly introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council held on

its second reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular
meeting held on the 21st day of -May , 1973, by
