A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, DETERMINING THAT THE PURCHASE OF LOT 115 OF
TENTATIVE TRACT 14396 LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER
OF TUSTIN RANCH ROAD AND PIONEER WAY BY THE TUSTIN
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES IS IN
CONFORMANCE WITH THE TUSTIN AREA GENERAL PLAN
The Planning Comraission does hereby resolve as follows-
I. The Planning Commission finds and determihes as follows-
A.
That Government Code Section 65402 provides that no
real property shall be acquired for public purposes
until the Planning Agency determines that such
acquisition is in conformance with the City's General
Plan.
B .
That the Tustin Unified School District intends to
purchase a site for an intermediate school which can be
described as Lot 115 of Tentative Tract 14396 and
located at the southwest corner of Tustin Ranch Road
and Pioneer Way.
C .
That the Tustin Area General Plan Land Use Map
designates the property as Planned Community
Residential which would accommodate public schools as
identified in the East Tustin Specific Plan.
II. The Planning Commission hereby determines that the purchase
of Lot 115 of Tentative Tract 14396 by the Tustin Unified
School District for school purposes is in conformance with
the Tustin Area General Plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the 'City of
Tustin, at a regular meeting on the 12th day of January, 1998.
