"MEREDITH ANNEXATION NO. 69" TO THE CITY OF 4 TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA. 5 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN WHEREAS, pursuanjt to the provisions of the Government Code of the State of California, application was made to the 7 Local Agency Formation Commission to. annex to the City of Tustin all that territory situated in the County of Orange, State of 8 C~ifornia, hereby designated as "MEREDITH ANNEXATION NO. 69", and described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein 9 by this reference as thoug~ set forth he~ein in full; and ~ WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission, in session ~uly assembled, on May 12, 1971, did approve said proposed 11 annexation; and WHEREAS, on the 17th day of May, 1971, the Council of the City of Tustin did pass and adopt Resolution No. 71-20 ~5 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Tustin, said territory being therein designated as 14 "Meredith Annexation No. 69" said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territorylproposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, said Resolution contained a notice of the day, 16 hour and place when and where the Council of the City of Tustin would hear protests made by any person owning real property within 17 the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being prescribed-by laW; an~ 18 WHEREAS, on the 6th day of July, 1971 at the hour of ~9 7:30 o'clock, P.M., in the ~ouncil Chambers, 275 South "C" Street in the City of.Tusitn, County of Orange, State of California, said Z0 time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolutio for hearing protests to the~said annexation, the said City Council 21 did hear and pass upon all protests~made to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners 2~ of one-half of the value of the privately and publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative 25 body; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to. the City of Tustin, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Orange; NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the.City of Tustin, 26 does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of Tustin, and does hereby further ordain 27 that siad territory be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin.
