AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE RELATIVE TO TAXING
OF VENDING MACHINES AND WASHERS AND DRYERS.
5 The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby ordain as
6 follows:
V 1. Section 13-37 (7) is hereby amended to read as follows:
8 7) (a) Vending Machines
9 Coin-operated vending machines (no skill or
chance involved):

Requiring one cent to operate .... $ 1.50 ea.
Ii
Requiring two to five cents to operate 5.00 ea.
Requiring over five cents to operate 7.50 ea.

All vending machines which are owned or operated by a business
I~ which\-is licensed and pays a gross receipns taxand. are owned
by the owner of such licensed premises shall be exempt from the
15 foregoing t~xes, and the gross receipts on such devices shall
be included in'the gross receipts of the licensed business and
i5 shall be includedkwithin the gross receipts which are the
measure of the tax on such bhsiness.

7)(b) Washers and Dryers

Coin-operated Washers and Dryers shall be taxed upon the gross
19 receipts receive~ from said machines in accordance with the
schedule set forth in Section 13-36. Licensees shall, with the
20 business license application and each renewal thereo~, file with
the City Clerk a list of each location within the City of Tustin
2i at which licensee has machines, showi'ng the number of'washers
and the number of dryers at each such location. Within ~ifteen
2Z (15) days after any change in location or in the number of machines
at such locations, the licensee shall file an amended and curren~
2~ list.
