AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
THE TUSTIN CITY CODE TO REVISE THE MEMBERSIIIP OF THE
~ PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION.
~ The City Council of the City of ~stin, California, does hereby
5 ordain as follows:
6 1. Section 2-18 of the ~stin City Code is hereby amended to
V read as follows:
8 Section 2-18 Created; Composition.; Appointment; Terms of Mem~era;
9 Vacancies and Removal
!0 Ther~ is hereby created a Parks and Recreation Commission
of the City. .Such Commission shall consist of seven (7) members,
!! who shall be appointed by the City Council for terms of ~wo years
which shall continue on their present staggered basis- Vacancies
!2' shall be filled by the City Council for the unexp~red portion of
the term of such vacant position. The City Council shall appoint
!~ one me~er-who is a me~er of the Board of the ~stin Union High
School District, one me~er who is a me~er of the Board of the
!~ ~stin Elementary School District, and one member who is a student
at ~stin High School when such qualified nominees are avail~ie.
15 Commissioners shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
Provided~ however, that until such time as a vacancy occurs
the Commission shall have eight (8) meters to enable the City
Council to ap~int the additional three me~ers herein above
described.

A ~or~m shall be a majority of the Commissioners who have
i9 been appointed.
