HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2849-A10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2849-A A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE REQUEST TO PERMIT THE EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING NON-CONFORMING DUPLEX WITHOUT REQUIRING CONFORMANCE WITH CURRENT PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1972 YOLANDA WAY. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: I · The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: A® That a proper application for an interpretation of parking requirements was filed by Randy Robertson on behalf of Octivia M. Diehl for the property located at 1972 Yolanda Way. B· That this item is not considered a project as defined under the California Environmental Quality Act. Co That Tustin City Code Section 9271(g) provides that the Planning Commission can determine for non-conforming structures whether the proposed expansion would require compliance with the policy requirements in the R-2 Zoning District. De That the proposed expansion will not create additional dwelling units, thereby requiring additional on-site parking. E® That a survey of properties immediately adjacent to and surrounding the subject property are of a similar character and the proposed expansion will be consistent with development in this neighborhood. II. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby approve the request to permit the expansion of an existing non-conforming duplex without requiring conformance with current parking requirements for the property located at 1972 Yolanda Way. 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Resolution No. 2849-A Page 2 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin Planning Commission, held on the 22nd day of October, 1990.
