HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2809 1 ,) 3 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 13 14 15 16 17 18 I9 20 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2809 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED EL MODENA-IRVINE CHANNEL FLOOD CONTROL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE TUSTIN AREA GENERAL PLAN. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: I · The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: A® That the County of Orange, Environmental Management Agency proposes to construct a reinforced concrete flood control channel within the City of Tustin for the purpose of improving drainage, and B· That 64502 of the California Government Code provides that a local agency shall construct a public building or structure in any county or city, until the location, purpose, and extent of such activity has been reported upon as to conformity with the adopted general plan for the jurisdiction. C® That the Planning Commission does hereby find that the proposed channel improvements are in conformity with the goals and policies as contained in the Conservation Open Space and Safety Elements of the Tustin Area General Plan in that this improvement project is part of the "Master Plan of Drainage of the E1 Modena-Irvine Area", adopted November 1969 which was designed to adequately serve the needs of our community. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin Planning Commission, held on the 13th day of August, 1990.
