HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 457 (1970) ORDINANCE NO. 457 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 157, AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO THE DEVELOPMENT PREVIEW COMMITTEE. The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does, hereby ordain as follows: Section 5.270 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Tustin, No.. 157, as' amended is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 5.270 Application~ Action and Time Limits a) The Development Preview Committee shall review all applications for Use permit, variance and other proceedings subject to public hearing before the Planning Commission, and ~shall render to the Planning Commission a report of its review, observations and recommendation prior to the date of such public hearing. b) Pertinent information shall be furnished to the Development Preview Committee on forms provided by the Planning Department, together with three (3) sets of. pre- liminary drawings not less than five (5) working days before the date of review by the Development Preview Committee unless such minimum time period is waived by the Community Development Director. c) The decision of the Development Preview Committee in matters o'f original jurisdiction and those referred to it bye:the Planning Commission shall be final, unless appealed in writing, stating the reasons for said appeal, to the City Council, within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of the action .taken by the Committee. d) Development shall commence wi'thin a period of eighteen months, otherwise, the approval of the Develpment Preview Committee shall no longer be valid, and a new application must be submitted prior to any development.
