HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2732 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2732 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CONDITIONALLY APPROVING THE DESIGN REVIEW NO. 89-68 FOR THE ARCHITECTURAL STYLE OF A RETAIL CENTER ON A SITE IN A PLANNED COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (PC-C' FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF NEWPORT AVENUE AND THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY, 14041 NEWPORT AVENUE. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: I · The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: ae That a proper application, Design Review 89- 68, was filed by CMS Development requesting approval of the architectural style of a retail center including a free-standing Carl's Jr. kestaurant totaling 45,376 square feet. Be A public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on January 8, 1990. C® Pursuant to Section 9272 of the Tustin Municipal Code, the Planning Commission finds that the location, size, architectural features and general appearance of the proposed development will not impair the orderly and harmonious development of the area, the present or future development therein, or the occupancy as a whole. Exterior materials and colors. Type and pitch of roofs. Towers, roof structures, doors and windows. Landscaping, parking area design and traffic circulation. Location, height and standards of exterior illumination. Location and method of refuse storage. Appearance and design relationship of proposed structures to existing structures and possible future structures in the neighborhood. 11. Proposed signing. 12. Development guidelines and criteria as adopted by the City Council. II. The Planning Commission conditionally approves Design Review No. 89-68 authorizing the architectural style of the subject retail center project subject to all conditions contained in Exhibit' A of Planning Commission Resolution No. 2731. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of January, 1990.
