HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2725 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 13 14 15 17 19 ~0 ~3 ~5 ~7 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2725 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED VACATION OF CHAMPION WAY, WEST OF JAMBOREE ROAD, IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE CITY'S ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California does hereby resolve as follows: I · The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: A· That the Irvine Company has proposed that the City of Tustin vacate Champion Way west of Jamboree Road. B· That Section 65402 of the California Government Code provides that no street shall be vacated or abandoned if the adopted General Plan or part thereof applied thereto until such street vacation or abandonment has been submitted to and reported upon by the planning agency as to conformity with said adopted General Plan or part thereof. Ce That the Planning Commission finds that Champion Way, west of Jamboree Road, is not part of the Circulation Element of the adopted General Plan and does hereby find that the proposed vacation of Champion Way, west of Jamboree Road, from public to private right- of-way, is not inconsistent with the General Plan and is found to be in conformance with the adopted General Plan of the City of Tustin. 1 3 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 13 14 15 17 19 ~0 23 24 ~5~ ~7 ~8 Resolution No. 2725 December 11, 1989 Page two Do That a said vacation has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the provisions of Section 15051 (b.3) of the California Environmental Quality Act.
