AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY '
2 OF TUSTIN, FIXING AND DETERMINING THE AMOUNT
OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION
3 UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
TUSTIN AND THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO
4 CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE SAID
CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1969-70.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as
follows:
Section 1: That it is hereby determined and declared
8 by the City Council of 'the City of Tustin that the sum of
$1,554~405.00 is the amount of revenue necessary to be raised
9 in order to carry on the various departmentsof the City of .
Tustin for the fiscal year 1969-70. =

Section 2: That of said sum of $1,554,405.00 it is
11 anticipated that there will be received, as income from various
sources other than through property tax levy, the sum of
12 $1,168,305.00 and that it will be necessary to raise the sum
of $386,100.00 by tax levy upon the property within the City
18 of Tustin.
14 Section 3'~ Of the amount budgeted to the Police Depart-
ment, $~,800'~00 will be paid from the Traffic Safety Fund for
1~ crossing guard protection.
18 Section 4: Of the amount budgeted for street construction
and-traffic signals, $13,600 00 will be paid from the Traffic
17 Safety Fund, $140,900.00 from the.Special Gas Tax FUnds, and
$20,000.00 from the City Beautification Fund..
Section 5: Of the amount budgeted for the repair and
19 maintenance of City streets, traffic signals, and traffic signs,
$45,600.00 will be paid from Special Gas Tax Funds, and
20 $31,600.00 from the Traffic Safety Fund.
-.21 Section 6: Of the amount~ budgeted for the construction
of new trunk sewers within the City, $60,000.00 will be
2~ paid from the Sewer Main Trunk Fund.
2~ Section 7: That the City Council hereby'finds and
determihes that the enactment of this Ordinance as an emergency,
2~ urgency measure is required for the preservation of public
health and welfaroe, and this Ordinance shall go into effect
.2~ 'immediately upon adoption.
26 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
2~ Council held on the 4th day of August 1969.
