HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2607 6 8 9 10 11 13 14 15 17 19 23 2~ 25 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2607 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO DESIGN REVIEW 87-13, AUTHORIZING THE DELETION OF 64 LANDSCAPED PLANTERS FOR AN APPROVED PROJECT WITH 252 APARTMENT UNITS ON 15.5 ACRES (TRACT 13038) The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as fol 1 ows' I. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows' A. That a proper application for a modification to Design Review No. 87-13, was filed on behalf of Western National Properties, requesting approval of the deletion of 64 landscaped planters for an approved apartment project with 252 units. B. That a hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application on May 22, 1989. C. Pursuant to Section 9272 of the Tustin Municipal Code, the Commission finds that the modification of the approved project will not impair the orderly and harmonious development of the area, the present or future development therein or the occupancy as a whole. In making such findings, the Commission has considered at least the following items: 1. Landscaping, parking area design and traffic circulation. 2. Development Guidelines and criteria as adopted by the City Council. D. That the project is Categorically Exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15701 (Class 1). II. The Planning Commission hereby approves the modification to Design Review 87-13, authorizing the deletion of 64 landscaped planters for an approved 252 apartment unit project.
