HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2559 1 2 3 4 5 6 i,- 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 17 18 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2559 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, FINDING THAT A PROPOSED FLOOD CONTROL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON THE RED HILL CHANNEL (FACILITY F13) IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE TUSTIN AREA GENERAL PLAN. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows' I. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows' A. That the County of Orange, Environmental Management Agency proposes to construct a reinforced concrete flood control channel within the City of Tustin between Riverford Road and Irvine Boulevard for the purpose of improving drainage. B. That 65402 of the California Government Code provides that a local agency shall not construct a public building or structure in any county or city, until the location, purpose, and extent of such activity has been reported upon as to conformity with the adopted general plan for the jurisdiction. C. That the Planning Commission does hereby find that the proposed channel improvements to the F13 facility are in conformity with them goals and policies as contained in the Conservation Open Space and Safety Elements of the Tustin Area General Plan in that this improvement project is part of the "Master Plan of Drainage of the E1 Modena-Irvine Area", adopted November 1969 which was designed to adequately serve the needs of our communi ry.
