HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2526 1 2 3 4 5 6 ? 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 25 26 27 21 RESOLUTION NO. 2526 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF SAN JUAN STREET BETWEEN ORANGE STREET AND CHARLOMA DRIVE IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby resolve as follows: I. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: A. That the Tustin Unified School District and the California Department of Transportation have proposed that the City of Tustin vacate a portion of San Juan Street between Orange Street and Charloma Drive. B. That Section 65402 of the California Government Code provides that no street shall be vacated or abandoned if the adopted General Plan or part thereof applies thereto until such street vacation or abandonment has been submitted to and reported upon by the planning agency as to conformity with said adopted General Plan or part thereof. C. That the Planning Commission finds that San Juan Street is not part of the Circulation Element of the adopted General Plan and does hereby find that the proposed vacation of a portion of San Juan Street between Orange Street and Charloma Drive is in conformity with the adopted General Plan of the City of Tustin. D. That a negative declaration will be prepared for the project in conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act.
