RESOLUTION NO. 2506
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CERTIFYING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION AS
ADEQUATE FOR VARIANCE 88-05 INCLUDING REQUIRED
FINDINGS PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL
QUALITY ACT.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as
fol 1 ow s'
I. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows'
A. Variance 88-05 is considered a "project" pursuant to the terms
of the California Environmental Quality Act; and
B. A Negative Declaration has been prepared for this project and
was distributed for public review; and
C. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin has considered
evidence presented by the Community Development Department and
other interested parties with respect to the subject Negative
Declaration; and
D. The Planning Commission has evaluated the proposed final
Negative Declaration and determined it to be adequate and
complete; and
E. The final Negative Declaration has been completed in compliance
wi th CEQA and State Gui delines, and the City's CEQA procedures,
and that the Planning Commission, having final approval
authority over the project, has reviewed and considered the
information contained in the Negative Declaration prior to
approving the proposed project and found it adequately discusses
the significant environmental effects of the proposed project,
and that, on the basis of the initial study and comments
received during the public review process there is no
substantial evidence that there will be any significant adverse
environmental effects as a result of the approval of this
project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Pl~nn~g Commi,$~ion of the City of Tustin at a
regular meeting held on the 13th day of June, 1988.
