· AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
ENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE TUSTIN CITY CODE
~--- 2 RELATIVE TO BUSINESS LICENSES.
~ The City Council of the City of Tustin, C~!ifornia, does
4 hereby ordain that Chapter 13 of the Tustin City Code ~hail be
5 amended as follows:
6 1) °. Section 13-8 is hereby amended to read as follows:
7 "13-8 Application: Issuance
8'. "Every person required to have a license under the
provisions of this Chapter shall make application to
9 the City Clerk of the City in such form as the City
Clerk shall designate, and upon pa~ent of a pre-
10 scribed license tax, the City Clerk shall issue to
such person a license which shall contain '(1) the
11 name of the per-son to whom'the-license is issued,
(2) the business licensed, '(3) the place where such
12 business is to be transacted and carried on, (4)
'the date of expiration of such license, and (5) such
15 other information as the City Clerk may deem reason-
able or necessary for the enforcement of the provi-
~.~_. 14 sions of this Chapter.
~ 15 All information specified to be'set forth on any
application form prescribed by the City Clerk shall
16 be submitted completely and accurately and the licens,
subsequently issued shall be based upon the informa-
l7 tion submitted. Any license shall be deemed based
upon the application on file, and if the information
18 is incomplete or inaccurate, the license shall be
deemed invalid. If information submitted in an
19 application subsequently becomes incomplete or
inaccurate by reason of a change in circ,im~stances,
20 the license shall thereafter be deemed invalid.
Upon the City Clerk?s learning of any inaccuracy
21 o~ incompleteness, notice shall be given forthwith
to the licensee, ab the address shown on the license,
22 that the license is-invalid."
~ 2) Section 13-9 is here~y amended by the addition to
24 subparagraph (c) thereof of the following sentence:
25 "If the Police Department in the person of the
Chief of Police or his designated representative,
~-~ 26 determines that it i.s reasonable or necessary, it
~7 may require fingerprinting and photographing of a
proposed licensee, and any or all of its officers,
28 partners, Owners, managers, or employees."
~9 3) Section 13-12 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"13-12 Duplicate'Licenses
"A duplicate license may be issued by the City
51 Clerk to replace any license previously issued
hereunder which has been lost or destroyed, upon
~ the licensee filing a statement of such fact."
4) Section 13-13(b) is hereby amended by the addition
thereto of the following:
~ "Any agent or employee of any such iicensee
shall carry in his possession an employee's
4 license card, which shall be provided to any
such licensee upon request by the City Clerk."
5). Section 13-15, subparagraph (c) is hereby amended

to read:
~ "Any soldier, sailor or marine of the United States
who has received an honorable discharge or a
8- release from active duty under honorable conditions
from such service as to selling or delivery of
9 circulars, hawking, peddling or rending of any
goods, wares or merchandise owned by him, except
10 spirituous, malt, vinous or other intoxicating
liquor if physically unable to obtain a-livlihood
11 by manual labor' due to s~r~i~e 'incurred disability."
12 6) Section 13-30 is hereby amended by the addition
15 thereto of subparagraph (d) to read as follows:
14 "(d) New Businesses
15 "Due immediately prior to commencement of
business, and delinquent on the first day of
16 commencement of business."
17 7) Section 13-37(7) is hereby amended to read as
18 follows:
"(7) Vending Machines

Other coin-operated machines:
(a) Coin-operated vending machines f~-o skill or
21 chance involved):
22 Requiring 1-cent to'Operate ..... $1.50 ea.
Requiring 2 to 5-cents to operate. - 5.00 ea.
25 Requiring over 5-cents to operate. - 7.50 ea.
24 (b) Coin-operated washing machines~ 7~50 for
the first washer, and ........ 3.00 for
~.5 each additional washer upon same premises.
Coin-operated clothes drying machine 7.50 for
~6 the first dryer, an~ ....... 3.00 for
each additicnal dryer upon same premises."
8) Section 13-37 is further amended'as follows:
"Trailer parks and mobile home parks $25.00 for
29 the first four (4) spaces, and . . . 1.00 for
each space in excess of four."
