Cox, J. L. ~~:c'~',ride, Harold Rasmus- sen and Vincent Humeston. ~ Arthur Charleton was elected Chairman and Vincent Humeston Secretary. The Chair announced the over-all purpose of the Commission as that of Planning, Zoning; and Regulating the use of property for the benefit and progress of the community. The Chairman then read the following names as appointed to the Corrunission by ;.layor Jerome Kidd:- Charleton. Rleans, Fricker, Farnsworth, Forney, Cox and Humeston, Rasmussen and i'1cBride. `~~ Attorney Nisson announced the purpose of this ~~ first meeting as bein~ that of orl;anization and get- ., ting the "blaster Plan' moving. ~•~ ~_.. ~t: A motion was made and carried that all members of the Commission act as members of a committee to study and make suggestions for the ;::aster Plan, to be discussed next meeting. Time and date of meetings were agraed upon as of 7:00 P. M., the third P,4onday of each month. Resolution No. 1 was introduced, passed and adopted. Temporary zoning recommendations were made as ~~ f ollows:- Zone 1. Business and industry along the boul©- vard, First and "D" Streets, vrithin the city limits and one block East and VJest of "D" on ain Street. Zone 2. Lesser business an~i hiJh class rasi- dences.
