HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 2341 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 2341 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A BANNER POLICY FOR BANNER SIGNS POSTED ON SCHOOL AND PARK FENCES. ® The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: A. All banner signs posted on any public park or school property must meet the loll owl ng cfi teria' 1. All temporary banner signs will require written approval from the Community Development Department prior to placement on any park or school ground fencing. 2. The banners shall be made of quality materials, professionally drawn, and not dangerously-distracting to motortsts. ® No more than two banners shall be maintained on any park or school fence at the same time. ® Banners-shall be limited to legitimate Tustin non-profit organizations, which specifically excludes private businesses or election related signing. ® Banners shall not be permitted to remain on park or school ground fencing in excess of fourteen (14) days per calendar quarter each year. 6. All banners shall be removed within one (1) day following the event or activity they advertise. B. Any on-site school sponsored activity or event signage is exempt from these requirements.
