HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 11-84RESOLUTION NO. 11-84 A RESOLUTION QF THE CITY COUNCIL QF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE USE OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE'S COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM TO PURCHASE AND INSTALL WATER QUALITY DEVICES FOR THE CITYWIDE CATCH BASIN BMP°S PROJECT CIP 50036 WHEREAS, the City has need to purchase and install various materials, supplies and equipment in order to conduct the operations of the City and comply with water quality requirements; and WHEREAS, the City has received funding under the Orange County Transportation Authority M2 Environmental Cleanup Program to purchase and install catch basin devices at various locations throughout the City; and WHEREAS, Section 1624c of the Tustin Municipal Code authorizes the use of the County of Orange's Cooperative Purchasing Program to purchase materials, supplies, and equipment if it can be acquired more cost effectively or efficiently by the County; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby authorize the use of the County of Orange's Cooperative Purchasing Program, to purchase and install water quality devices, including at least 100 automatic retractable screens and at least 55 catch basin inserts for the Citywide Catch Basin BMP's Project CIP 50036, and that the City Manager ar his designee, is hereby directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other documents in connection therewith, and for and on behalf of the City of Tustin.
