RESOLUTION NO. 1942
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, RECOMMENDING REZONING ON ZONE
CHANGE 81-1.
The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as
follows:
I. The Planning Agency finds and determines:
A. That a proper application (Zone Change 81-1) has been filed
on behalf of The Tustin City Council for a zone change from
the Multiple-family Residential (R-3) District to the Central
Commercial (C-2P) District of the property descr£bed in Ex-
hibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference as though set forth herein in full.
B. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on
said application.
C. That a zone change should be granted for the following
reasons:
The central commercial district is in conformance with
commercial land use designation of the Tustin Area General
Plan.
D. Development of subject property shall be in accordance with
the policies adopted by the City council; Uniform Building
Codes as administered by the Building Official; Fire Code as
administered by the Orange County Fire Marshal; and street
improvement requirements as administered by the City Engi-
neer.
E. Final development plans shall require the review and approval
of the Community Development Director.
F. A Negative Declaration has been applied for to comply with
the California Environmental Quality Act.
II. The Planning Agency hereby recommends to the City Council ap-
proval of Zone Change 81-1 from the Multiple-family Residential
(R-3) District to the Central Commercial (C-2P) District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a re~u~lar meeting of the planning Agency, held
on the 19th day of January, 1981.
