HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 19291 2 3 4 ? 8 9 10 11 I£ 13 14 15 18 19 2O 22 24. 25 26 27 28 29 30 RESOLUTION NO · 1929 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN RECOMMENDING AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN RELATIVE TO THE PARCEL OF LAND EASTERLY OF HOLT AVENUE, NORTHERLY OF PRESENT CITY BOUNDARX TO A POINT 292 FEET SOUTHERLY OF HARREN AVENUE. The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Agency finds and determines as follows: a. That Section 65356.1 of the. Government Code of the State of California provides. ~hat when it is deemed to be in the public interest, the legislative body may amend a par~ of the General Plan. That in accordance with Section 65356 of' the Government Code of the State of California, a public hearing was duly advertised and bela on November 17, 1980, ~o consider General Plan Amendment 80-2(B) to reclassify the parcels of land on the easterly side of Holt Avenue, northerly of present city boundary to a point 292 feet southerly of Warren Avenue. b. That' a Negative Declaration has been applied for to comply with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Ac=. c., That. the change in classification would be in the public interest, and not detrimental to the welfare of the public or the surrounding property o~%er s · 2. The Planning Agency hereby reco~ends to the City Council approval of General Plan Amendment 80--2(B). to reclassify subjec~ parcel as identified herein (in Exhibit A) from the single- family to the multi-family classification, subject to. annexa- tion · PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting,of the Pl~_anning Agency of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 17th day of November, 1980 ~ day of ~ , 1980.
