The planning Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Agency finds and determines as follows: a. That Section 65356.1 of the Government Code of the State of California provides that when it is deemed to be in the public interest, the legislative body may amend a part of the General Plan. That in accordance with Section 65356 of the Government Code of the State of California, a public hearing was duly advertised and held on November 17, 1980, to consider General Plan Amendment 80-2(A) to reclassify the parcels of land on the south side of Main Street between "B" & "C" Streets from the Multi-family class- ification to the Professional Office Class- ification. b. That the proposed project previously had a Negative Declaration approved to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act. c. That the change in classification would be in the public interest and not detrimental to the welfare of the public or the surround- ing property owners. 2.
