RESOLUTION NO. 1901
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLI-
CATION NO. U.P. 80-13 OF TUNE-UP MASTERS.
The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as roi lows:
I. The Planning Agency finds and determines as follows=
A. That a proper application (No. UP 80-13) was filed on behalf of
Tune-Up Masters for a Conditional Use Permit to eliow a 36 square
foot (double faced) pole sign not to exceed 15 feet in height on
the property described as 695 El Camino Real.
B. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said
application.
C. That establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied'
for will not, under the circumstances of this case, be detrimental
to the health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the
persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such proposed
use, evidence by the following:
1. The use is in conformance with the land use element of the
Tusfin Area General Plan.
D. That the establishment, maintenance and operation of the use
applied for will not be injurious ordefrimsntal to the property
and improvements in the neighborhood of the subject property, nor
fo the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and should be
granted.
E. Proposed development shall be in accordance with the development
policies adopted by the City Council.
F. That the proposed project is categorically exempt from the re-
quirements of the California Environmental Quality Act.
II. The Planning Agency hereby grants a conditional use permit, as applied
For, fo allow a 36 square foot identification sign, subject fo the
following conditions:
A. That the proposed pole sign shall not exceed 15 feet in height or
a total o¢ 36 square feet (double faced) for the sign face.

B. No illuminated sign shall have an intensify of light exceeding
425 t~ soft cool white lamp of not less than ~0 inches on centers.
C. That the pole shall be covered with a sign pole cover of natural
wood stain. ·
D. No portion of the proposed sign shall encroach info the public
r i gh f-ot:-way.
E. All construction documents shall comply with all applicable City
building regulations and the Sign Code No. 684.
F. Final sign plans shall require the review and approval of the
Community Development Department.

G. The Building Official shall have access to the subject buildings
for determination for issuance of a Certificate o-f Occupancy.
