RESOLUTION NO. 1870
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, DENYING A REQUEST TO VARY
WITH SIGN CODE PROVISIONS.
The Planning Agency of the City of Tusfin does hereby resolve as follows:
I. The Planning Agency of the City of Tusfin finds and determines as
follows:
A. That a proper application, Variance No. 80-2, was filed on
behalf of Larry H. Seidifz to request authority to vary with
Section 9493c of the City Code and display three (31 additional
wall signs at the Tune-Up Masters facility, 695 El Camino Real.
B. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed, and held on
said application.
C. That because there are no special circumstances applicable to
the subject property, relative fo size, shape, topography, I o-
cation or surroundings, and approval of this application would
grant the sub]ecl property privileges not enjoyed by other
properties in the vicinity and under identical zone classifi-
cation, evidenced by the following findings:
1. The site does enjoy visibility of a "Y" shaped intersection
which is a benefit, not a hardship.
2. That the business has sufficient approved signing area fo
incorporate descriptions of the services offered.
D. That the granting of the variance as herein provided would be
contrary fo the intent of the Sign Ordinance and should not
be granted.
!1. The Planning Cor~nission, fherefore,.hereby denies Variance No. 80-2
as applied for.
