RESOLUTION NO. 1820
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF A HEALTH CLUB
WITH A GYMNASIUM, SAUNA, AND SPA FACILITY-
AT THE COURTYARD SHOPPING CENTER.
The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows:
I. The Planning Agency finds and determines as follows:
A. That a proper application, Use Permit 79-16, was filed on behalf
of Milo Health Club for Women for a conditional use.permit to
allow the operation of a health club, gymnasium, sauna, and jacuzzi
facility at 14941 Holt Avenue, Suite E-1.
B. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed, and held on said
application.
C. That establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied
for will not, under the circumstances of this case, be detrimental
to the health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the
persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such proposed
use, evidenced by the following findings:
The use is in conformance with the Land Use Element of the General
Plan and ~he Zoning Ordinan6~ and is categoricallY exempt from
CEQA requirements.
D. That the establishment,' maintenance and operation of the use
applied for will not be injurious or detrimental to the property
~nd L~provements in the neighborhood of the subject property,
nor to the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and should be
grab. ted.
E. Proposed development shall be in accordance with the development
pc!icies adopted by the City Council, Uniform Building Codes as
administered by the Building Official, Fire Code as administered
by the Orange County Fire Marshal, and street improvement require-
ments as administered by the City Engineer.
F. FLna! development plans shall require the review and approval of
~.e Community Development Department.
II. The Planning Agency hereby grants a conditional use permit, as applied
for, subject to the following conditions:
A. That the maximum number of students per class is 25. That only'
one class at a time is authorized.
B. That the use is subject to a License and Permit Board hearing and
provision of operation specified in Ordinance No. 700.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Agency held on
the 4th day of June, 1979.
