CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2011-20 - a request for authorization to operate a yoga studio with accessory retail use within an existing tenant space at 2872 EI Camino Real in The Market Place shopping center. APPLICANT: LINDA SCHMEHL COREPOWER YOGA 3901 WEST 32ND AVENUE DENVER, CO 80212 CONSULTANT: TERRI DICKERHOFF CGR DEVELOPMENT 1120 MANZANITA STREET LOS ANGELES, CA 90029 PROPERTY OWNER: IRVINE COMPANY 100 INNOVATION IRVINE, CA 92617 ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: THIS PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT (CLASS 1) PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. Zoning Administrator Action Agenda January 19, 2012 Page 2 RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) No. 12- 001 approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 2011-20 to operate a yoga studio with accessory retail use within an existing tenant space at 2872 EI Camino Real in The Market Place shopping center. Presentation: Amy Thomas, AICP, Senior Planner The Public Hearing opened at 10:38 a.m. The Acting Zoning Administrator introduced City staff and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. Terri Dickerhoff indicated she was representing the applicant, Linda Schmehl of CorePower Yoga. John Ellis indicated he was representing Ellis Contracting for CorePower Yoga. The Acting Zoning Administrator reviewed the report, and asked Ms. Dickerhoff if she had reviewed the report and conditions of approval. Ms. Dickerhoff answered in affirmation, and stated she had no questions or concerns regarding the report and conditions of approval. The Acting Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action No. 12-001 approving Conditional Use Permit 2011-20. The Public Hearing closed at 10:43 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
