Ogdon, AICP, Acting Zoning Administrator (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC HEARING: 1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2011-21 AND DESIGN REVIEW 2011-09 - a request for authorization to construct a single story detached accessory building to be used as a guest house. APPLICANT/ PROPERTY OWNER: ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: RECOMMENDATION OMAR AND LANA KARIM 445 W. MAIN STREET TUSTIN, CA 92780 THIS PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT (CLASS 3) PURSUANT TO SECTION 15303 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) No. 12- 002 approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 2011-21 and Design Review (DR) 2011-09 to construct a single story detached accessory building to be used as a guest house. Presentation: Scott Reekstin, Senior Planner Zoning Administrator Agenda January 30, 2012 Page 2 The meeting opened at 10:35 a.m. The Acting Zoning Administrator introduced City staff and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. Omar Karim indicated he was the applicant for the proposed project. Nathan Menard indicated he was the architect for the proposed project. The Acting Zoning Administrator reviewed the report and asked Mr. Karim if he had reviewed the conditions of approval, and if he had any questions regarding these conditions. Mr. Karim requested clarification regarding the deed restriction requirement subject to the proposed project. Scott Reekstin responded to Mr. Karim's inquiry, and stated he would provide Mr. Karim with a sample deed restriction document for his reference. Mr. Menard requested a sample WRRP to be used for his reference. Mr. Karim indicated that he had no further questions or concerns regarding the proposed conditions of approval. The Acting Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action No. 2011-02, approving Conditional Use Permit 2011-21 and Design Review 2011- 09. The meeting adjourned at 10:45 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set far hearing.
