A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING P~,4NS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FUR THE ANNUAL ROADWAY
REHABIL.IATIUN AND CITYWIDE SIDEWALK REPAIR
PROJECT GIP NO. 74441; THE RED HILL AVENUE
REHABILITATION PROJECT BETWEEN VALENCIA
AVENUE AND EDINGER AVENUE GIP NO. 74212; AND
THE ORANGE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT GISLER-
RED HILL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, REACH B,
CONTRACT NO. 7-37, AND AUTHORIZING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California
to contract far the construction of the Annual Roadway Rehabilitation and Citywide
Sidewalk Repair Project CIP No. 74441, FY 2411-2412; the Red Hill Avenue
Rehabilitation Project between Valencia Avenue and Edinger Avenue CIP Na. 74212;
and the Orange County Sanitation District {flGSD} Gisler-Red Hill System
Improvements, Reach B, Contract Na. 7-37, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented plans and specifications far the
construction of said work; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin CIP 74441 and 74212 projects are categorically
exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act {CEQA};
Class 1, Section 15341: Existing Facilities; and
WHEREAS, an October 27, 1999, the flCSD Board of Directors adopted
Resolution Nas. 99-19, 99-24, and 99-21, which approved the Program Environmental
Impact Report, 1999 Strategic Plan, which includes the proposed OCSD Gisler-Red Hill
System Improvements, Reach B, Contract Na. 7-37, pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, an Uctaber 28, 1999, pursuant to Public Resources Cade Section
21444, et seq., GEQA, the UCSD filed a Notice of Determination under CEQA with the
County Clerk of the County of Orange, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications
presented by the City Engineer are hereby approved as the plans and specifications for:
Annual Roadway Rehabilitation and Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project CIP Na. 74441
and
Red Hill Avenue Rehabilitation Project between Valencia Avenue and Edinger Avenue
CIP Na. 74212
and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Gity Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for
the performance of the work specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications;
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of ~a~tin. at a regular
meeting on the 7th day of February, 2012.
