RESOLUTION NO. 1760
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
TO THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DIS-
POSITION OF PROPERTY.
The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin resolves
as fol 1 ows- . .' '
1. The Planning Agency finds and determines-
a. That a proper application was regularly
initiated by the Planning Agency, for the
purpose of determining the need, if any,
for a parcel of land described as the
southerly half of Lot 12 in Block "B" of
"Martin's Addition to the Town of Tustin
City," as per map thereof recorded in
Book 19, page 79, of Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, California, excep-
ting therefrom the northwesterly 20.00
feet thereof.
b. That the subject property was acquired
by the Community Redevelopment Agency as
part of a parcel of land designated as
A.P. #102-292-25' along the easterly side
of Newport Avenue for street widening
purposes, the whole of which was purchased
in order to avoid excessive severance
damages.
c. That a public hearing was duly called,
noticed, and held.on the proposal to
dispose of said property.
d. That the subject property is and should
be disposed of for private use and devel-
opment for the following reasons'
l) The property is not suitable
nor adequate for any public
purpose, including parks and
recreational needs.
2) There is no contemplated use
of the property for public
right of way, either presently
or prospectively.
e. That a sale of the subject property is in
conformance with the General Plan of the
City of Tustin.
f. That the sale of the subject property
qualifies as a Class 12 Categorical
Exemption from an Environmental Impact
Report as set out at Title 14 of the
California Administrative Code Section
15112.

2. The Planning Agency, pursuant to Section 37350 and
65402 of the Government Code, hereby recommends to the Com-
munity Redevelopment Agency the disposition by sale of the
subject parcel.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Agency,
held on the 7th day of August, 1978.
