HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1708 1 2 4 5 7 8 15 17 RESOLUTION NO. 1708 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF REZONE 78-1 FOR THE PURPOSES OF REZONING 2.43 ACRES OF PROPERTY ON SIXTH STREET, EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL FROM C-2-P (COMMERCIAL) TO PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT RESIDENTIAL) The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Agency finds and determines as follows: A. That a proper application for Rezone 78-1, a rezoning from C-2-P (Commercial) to PD (Planned Development-Residential), was filed with the Planning Agency for the purposes of having the zoning into confor- mance with the General Plan. B. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed, and heard on said application. C. That a focused EIR was prepared by the applicant and certified as part of the amending of the Tustin General Plan. D. That the proposed rezoning to PD is for the purpose of allowing the property to be developed into one hundred units of Senior Citizens housing in a manner to be provided for in the Use Permit as required in the PD zone regulations. E. That the change in zoning would allow a land compatible with the surrounding land uses ahd in the best interests of the public and community at large. 2. The Planning Agency recommends the City Council approve Rezone 78-1. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City of Tustin Plahning Agency, held on the 16th day of January, 1978.
