RESOLUTION NO. 1689
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF REZONING ON APPLI-
CATION NO. 77-8, FOR PACKERS SQUARE.
The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Agency finds and determines as follows:
a.
b.
That a proper application (Zone Change 77-8)
has been filed on behalf of Packer Square
for a zone change form the PC-Commercial
District to the PD Residential District
at the southeasterly corner of Newport and
Iryine.
That a public hearing was duly called, noticed
and held on said application.
c. That a zone change should be granted for the
following reasons:
1)
The properties surrounding this property
are classified as multi-family residential
and commercial.
2)
The zone change would be in conformance with
the Land Use Element of the Tustin Area
General Plan.
d.
That development of subject property shall be in
accordance with the policies adopted by the
City Council, Uniform Building Codes as
administered by the Fire Chief, and street
improvement requirements as administered
by the City Engineer.
e.
That final development plans shall require the
review and approval of Use Permit 77-33 by the
Planning Agency.
.
That Planning Agency hereby recommends to the City
Council approval of zone change application 77-8
from the PC-Commercial District to P.D. District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of'the Planning
of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 7th day of
November, 1977.
