HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1681 1 2 4 6 ? 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 21 26 RESOLUTION NO. 1681 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN GRANTING A USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. 77-26, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LUMBER STORAGE YARD FOR DUKE LUMBER CONSTRUCTION CO. The Planning Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Agency finds and determines as follows: a. That a proper application (No. 77-26) was filed on behalf of Duke Lumber Construction Co. for a Use Permit to authorize the construction of an outdoor lumber storage yard for the property located on Dow Avenue, Parcel 8 of Parcel Map 75-76. b. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application; c. That establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied for will not, under the circum- stances of this case, be detrimental to the health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such proposed use, evidenced by the following findings: 1. That the use is in conformance with provisions of the Planned Community District regulations. 2. That the'use is in substantial conformance with the Tustin Area General Plan. d. That the establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied for will not be injurious or detrimental to the property and improvements in the neighborhood of the subject property, nor to the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and should be granted. e. Proposed development shall be in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance and the development policies adopted by the City Council, Uniform Building Codes as administered by the Building Official, Fire Code as administered by the Fire Chief, and street improvement requirements as administered by the City Engineer. 2. The Planning Agency hereby grants a Use Permit, as applied for, to authorize an outdoor lumber storage facility, subject to the following conditions: a. That revised plans shall be submitted to staff for review and approval, to include plot, elevations, landscaping, irrigation, lighting, and signing plans. b. That the storage yard shall be b6rdered by a 4 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 18 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 $0 Ill 82 fence of sufficient height (10' maximum) to screen the material stored on the site. c. That a continuous five foot (5') wide planter shall be provided along the east and west property lines. d. That compliance with all previous conditions of approval of Tract. No. 6783 and Parcel Map 75-76 is required prior to issuance of building permits. e. Submission of improvement plans subject to approval of the City Engineer calling for construction of all street, drainage and utility improvements across the frontage of Parcel 8 per the City of Tustin "Minimum Design Standards for Public Works" and "Street Improvement Standards." Said plans shall also include construction of all necessary off-site improvements to include extension of Myford Road southerly to Dow Avenue and extension of Dow Avenue easterly to Myford Road. f. Payment of sewer connection fees for Parcel 8. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Agency of the City of T.ustin held on the 19th day of September, 1977.
