HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1626 4 6 ? 9 10 · 11 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 24 25 26 28 29 RESOLUTION NO. 1626 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PARKING ACCOMODATIONS }$IISSION RECO~tENDING ~lENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PARKING ACCOMODATIONS :'The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines the following: a. That the Planning Commission has initiated amendments to the Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 157, as amended) to codify parking re- quirements related to residential developments b. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application. c. That the proposed amendments are hereby granted a Negative Environmental Impact Report Declaration, based upon an Initial Study. d. That the proposed amendments are necessary for the convenience of the public and the orderly development of private properties. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council that parking requirements for residential developments be adopted and codified as follows: a. The minimum parking accomodations for residential dwellings shall be not less than two spaces per unit, except as other- wise provided by Use Permit. b. Parking accomodations for Senior Citizen Housing projects shall be determined by the Planning Commission as a condition of a Use Permit, based upon comparable development standards. c.
