HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1606~~~- RESOLUTION NO. 1GOG A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin Recommending Approval of General Plan Amendment 77-1(C). The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve ~ as follows: 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: a. That a proper application (General Plan Amendment 77-1(C)) was initiated by the Planning Commission for the purpose _ of reclassifying from Single-Family to Multi-Family Residential the properties easterly of Newport Avenue, bounded by San Juan, Bonita Street, and Orange Avenue. b. That a public hearing was duly called noticed and held on said application. c. That the proposed amendment. is in the interest of the physical amenities of the community by the encouragement of redevelopment of a under-developed area. d. That a Negative Environmental Impact Declaration is requested and hereby granted on the basis of an insignifi- cant impact upon the environment resulting from the subject project. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council the approval of General Plan Amendment 77-1 (C) for the sub- ject area, reclassifying the properties from Single-Family (R-1) to Multi-Family (R-3-2000) Residential Classification. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a ~gular meeting of the Plannins Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 28th day of February, 1977.
