RESOLUTION NO. 1592
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN ON APPLICATION BY DR. JACK MANN, AUTHORIZ-
ING THE USE OF A TRAILER AS A TEMPORARY SALES OFFICE
WITH TEMPORARY SIGNING FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS

ING THE USE OF A TRAILER AS A T~4PORARY SALES OFFICE
WITH TEMPORARY SIGNING FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MO~THS
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does here
resolves as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows:
a. That a proper application (Use Permit 77-3) was
filed by Jack Mann~ of the future Tustin Bowling
Lanes to allow the use of a trailer as a sales
office with two (2) temporary signs for a ~
period of six (6) months for the propert~f located
at 1091 Old Irvine Blvd., Tustin California.
b. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and
held on said application.
c. That establishment, maintenance and operation of
the use applied for will not, under the circum-
stances of this case, be detrimental ~o the
·
health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare
of the persons residing or working in the neighbor-
hood of such proposed use, evidenced by the
following findings:
1) The use is of a temporary nature to exist only
during the construction of the bowling facJ
2) This temporary use is categorically exempt
from the requiremenh of filing an Environmental
Impact Report.
3) The proposed use is not in conflict with the
Tustin Area General Plan.
d. That the establishment, maintenance and operation
of the use applied for wil~ not be injurious or
detrimental to the property and improvements in
the neighborhood of the subject propertv, nor to
the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and
should be granted.
e. Proposed temporary use shall be in conformance wit?
the Zoning Ordinance and the development policies
adopted by the City Council and applicable regula-
tions governing the use of trailers as commercial
offices as administered by the Building Official,
Fire Code as administered by the Fire Chief, and
City Engineering requirements as administered by
the City Engineer.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit
as applied for, to allow the use of trailer

sales office with signing for the future Tustin Bowlin~
Lanes under construction, subject to the following
conditions:
a. The term of occupancy shall be limited to six (6)
months.

b. That the trailer be installed and connected to
utilities in accordance with the requirements of
Title 25 of the California Administrative Code as
administered by the Building Official.
c. That at leas% three (3) paved parking spaces be
provided adjacent to the trailer site.
d. Installation of the two (2) signs shall be in .
conformance with provisions of Sign Ordinance ,a684.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 14th day
of February, 1977.
