RESOLUTION NO. 1584
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN GRANTING USE PERMIT NO. 76-32 ON THE AP-
PLICATION OF NURSERY SUPPLIES WEST FOR THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF A STORAGE AND PARKING LOT AT 1432 SANTA FE
DRIVE

The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows
a. That a proper application for Use Permit #76-32
was filed by Theodore J. Guarriello of Nursery
Supplies West for the purpose of authorizing the
construction and use of a parking lot and storage
lot at 1432 Sante Fe Drive.
b. That a public hearing was duly called and noticed
and held on said application.
c. That the establishment, maintenance and operation
of the use applied for will not, under~he circum-
stances of this case be detrimental to the health,
safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the
persons residing or working in the neighborhood of
such proposed use, evidenced by the following
findings:
1) The subject use is in conformanc~ with the
Tustin Area General Plan as adopted by the
City Council of Tustin; and '
2) The development will be constructed in ac-
cordance with approved plans for site with
architectural plans to conform to the design
requirements of the City of Tustin.
d. That the establishment, maintenance of operation of
the storage lot will not be injurious or detri-
mental to the property and improvements in the
neighborhood of the subject property, or to the
general welfare of the City of Tustin and should
be granted.
e. The proposed development shall be in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance and development policies
adopted by the City Council, Uniform Building Codes
as administered by the Building Official, Fire Code
as administered by the Fire Chief, street improve-
ments as required and administered by the City
Engineer.
f. That a request for an exemption for Environmental
Impact Report has been requested and is hereby
approved.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit as
applied for to authorize the construction of a storage
and parking lot subject to the submittal of grading,
landscaping, irrigation and construction plans and

specifications in conformance with City Ordinances
and Guidelines and to include the following conditions:
4 a. All conditions of the previously approved parcel
§ maps should be complied with.
6 b. Installation of street lights and underground
conduit as required by the City Engineer.
? c. Installation of view obscurring perimeter barrier
not to exceed 6'8", with landscaping and Perimeter
8 trees as approved by staff.
10 d. All storage and parking shall take place within the
development area and storage shall not exceed the
11 height of the perimeter barriers.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of 'Tustin, California, held on the 13th day
of December, 1976.
